Mayan Natives
The Maya Indians were settled in Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, and Belize and also were located some way into Mexico and near the Yucatan Peninsula. They were a tribe that used the caste system which kept wealthy people wealthy and poorer people poor. The were also one of tribes that adopted Human Sacrifice for their gods pleasure. -

The Black Death
Plague that spread through Europe between 1347 and 1351, taking a substantially greater number of lives than any other known sickness or war up to that time. Trade was greatly reduced due to this event, farming was also impacted by the plague. Since many farmers were killed due to The Black Death the land was not being tended to. -

Columbian Exchange
Christopher Columbus introduced horses, sugar plants, and disease to the New World, while beginning the introduction of New World commodities like sugar, tobacco, chocolate, and potatoes to the Old World. -

For example, the Pueblo were inhabitant of the southwestern area of North America and used Adobe Houses to protect themselves from the heat of the desert.
