John White finds out
John White finds out that some of his men were killed by natives when he landed in Roanoke Island. Inference: They killed some of his men because in 1585 Walter Raleigh's crew killed one of the chiefs; so maybe they wanted revenge. -
England defeats Spain.
John White and Simon Fernandez go back to England for supplies during the middle of a Spanish invasion to place a catholic monarch, but England defeats Spain in the invasion. Which means John White was still able to get more supplies and returned to Roanoke Island but, when they come back no one is there this was known as "The Lost Colony". -

100 men are sent to the Virginia James River for colonization. Their leader Is John Smith. Over 60 men died but, the rest of them trudged through their difficulties and they created the first American colony (Jamestown) -

Captain Smith was the leader of Jamestown. One day he got ill and had to return to England. Then in 1613 he was hit by a gunpowder explosion and sadly past away on June 21,1613. -
The Mayflower Compact is Created
It's the year 1620 and the Mayflower landed in Plymouth, New Jersey and they thought," we must keep law and order". So they created the Mayflower Compact to keep law and order in the colony so that there is peace and harmony. -
Land Ho!
The Mayflower is blown of course by a mighty wind gust. Instead of landing in Jamestown they land in Cape Cod, New Jersey. So they crossed Massachusetts Bay and landed in a harbor named Plymouth Rock. -
Oceanus is born
One day on the Mayflower while they are heading to Jamestown. A baby is born and his name was,"Oceanus". He was named that because he was born on a ship in the middle of the ocean. -
The First Ever Thanksgiving
Governor William Bradford holds the first Thanksgiving for no longer lacking food. Thanksgiving was held for Prayer and Fasting. So he invited he Wampanoags for helping the pilgrims colonize the land which they call "Jamestown". -
William Penn gets Land
William Penn was a Quaker so he was thrown into jail. A Quaker is a person who believes in the "inner light" which means directly from God. But, King Charles II owed William's deceased father land so he was given land that was named Pennsylvania.
