Musical Genius is Evident
At age four, Mozart's musical genius becomes eviden,t as he begins to play clavier music which belonged to his older sister. -

Konzertmeister for Court of the Archbishop of Salzburg
Mozart, at 12 years old, becoms concert master (konzertmeister) of the archbishop of Salzburg's court. -
"La Finta Simplice"
Mozart composes his first opera, "La Finta Simplice." -
"Idomeneo"
The elector of Bavaria commissions Mozart to compose a new opera, "Idomeneo", in 1780. -
Mozart and Constanze get Married
Mozart marries Constanze Weber, the 16 year old sister of Aloysia Weber, who was the married woman he originally fell in love with. -
Le Nozze di Figaro
In 1786, Mozart composes his most famous opera, "Le Nozze di Figaro", which was well recieved when it premeried in May of 1786. -
Don Giovanni and Royal Kammermusikus
the Bohemian government commissions Mozart to compose the opera "Don Giovanni" in 1787. He accepts the position as the royal chamber musician (kammermusikus) in Vienna. -
Mozart Dies
After the death of his father in 1787, Mozart's heath slowly deteriotates, resulting in his death in 1791.
