A conference that was held outside of Berlin. A plan for a meeting for an agreement on the murder of Jews around Europe. This conference led to a plan for death camps starting with a camp in Poland. -
Casablanca Conference
The first War Conference between the Allied powers. This meeting was held in Casablanca. A meeting between FDR,Churchill, and Stalin to plan a way to end the war. -
Battle of Stalingrad
A war of Eastern Europe. This day Germany surrendered and about 90,000 survived and lost 330,000 troops. This battle lasted about a year against the Red Army. -
Italy declares war on Germany!
On this day Germany had been declared way from the Goverment of Italy and joins the battle on the side of allies. Italian troops tried to capture Rome from Germany. -
Anzio Invasion
Allied soldiers had landed on German lines at Anzio beach. Allied troops were tapped from the block off force from the Germans. Germans had then attacked the soldiers. -
Opertion Overlord
It was the code name given to Allied invasion of France. The General for Operation Overlord was General Dwight Eisenhower. -
Liberation Of Paris
The day the city was free from German control and the U.S army had liberated Paris of the French divison. This has been trying to happen for U.S but they officially succedeed this day. -
Battle of Bulge
A war with Germany and the U.S. When German attacked U.S and the First Army of U.S was pushed back. The attack was located in Belgium and Luxembourg. This attack created a bulge in the Allied Line, which created the name Battle of the Bulge. -
Yalta Conference
Another Conference that was held somewhere in the Soviet Union. A meeting to plan the defeat of Germany. Leaders then agreed to split Germany into 4 zones. -
V-E Day
Also known as Victory in Europe Day! The remaining of German troops finally surrendered and Hitler commited suicide in April before Germans surrendered. -
Nuremberg Trials
Trial conducted from Great Britain, Soviet Union, and France. Nazi leaders were charged for crime agaisnt peace, humanity, and war.
