Nora thought she was normal and so did everybody else until her class was learning a new math step. Nora then answered to every question and the same thing happened in all her classes. Then she knew she was a genius. -

Plays dumb
Nora decides she doesn't like attention, so she plays dumb when her mom and sister watch her for a few days. -
Poems
She goes to Kindergarten and she memorized thirty-eight poems in a child's Garden of Verses. -
The Report Card
It is the day all the kids get their school report cards. All the kids are excited, but not Nora. She opens her report card and she has all D's and one C. -
CMT
Nora gets her CMT scores, she got average. She went on the internet to see how many questions she has to get wrong. -
The Fake Note 2
However, since Nora is eleven, her score translates to a higher IQ. According to that test , Nora has an IQ of one hundred and eighty-eight. Nora didn't know what to think -

Mrs. Noyes gave Nora a note that said to bring her books to the library, Nora knew what that meant.That she wanted to know more about Nora's plan. She asked how Nora thinks she did, Nora said about average.The test she took was scaled for childen up to sixteen. Her score translated to an IQ of one hundred and seventeen, which is about average. That's what your IQ would be if you were sixteen years old, But since Nora is only eleven, Nora's score translates to a highter IQ. according to the test, -
Mess up
It was fifth period, Dr Trindler, was waiting for her. Nora told him she meant to mess up on some of the questions. -
Phone Call
Dr Trindle had told Nora's mom and dad. They were so happy they were already planning Nora's future for her. Stephen, Nora's friend, called her and she told him how smart she is and her plan. Stephen is going to be part pf the plan too. -
Class
Nora goes to school, in lanugage arts class she is the first person to answer the question and she proved she really is a genius. Now everyone in all her classes know she is a genius. -
Test
On Tuesday morning, Mrs. Hackney asked Nora to come to her office. She told Nora she got a zero on her spelling test, a zero on her math test, and a zero on her science test. After a long hard talk, Nora got into the Gifted Program. -
Morning
It was Monday morning and Nora faked being sick. Someone called and Nora answered but it was Mrs.Hackney. Nora told Mrs. Hackney that her mom was out and to call her cell phone. Five minutes later her mom came bursting through the front door screaming to get ready for school. When she went to school, Mrs. Hackney said that forty-two zeros were given out today. -
The Next Good Thing
Nora went into the Media Center where she said an amazing speech. After she was done, everyone started to clap but then the clapping stopped fast. Fifteen minutes later, Nora, her mom, dad and Stephen's parents had to come too. Nora is going to be in the gifted program, but she made another amazing speech and went to homeroom. She was normal for her. -
Rebellion
Mrs.Hackney held a meeting, There was a lady from cable tv, Mrs.Tersom, the school superintendent, Mrs. Byrne, Mrs. Drummond, Mrs. Anderson, Nora, Nora's mom and dad, Dr.Trindler, Mrs.Noyes, Mrs. Zhang, Stephen and his mom and dad, Merton Lake and both of his parents. Nora had no idea why he was there. Nora explained her plan that if most of the kids got zero's, they could get people to notice how everyone was so crazy about grades. -
Dinnertime
At dinne time, her sister and brother give their report cards, when its her turn. she refuses to show it. She falls asleep at the dinner table -
Morning
It is Saturday morning and Nora goes downstairs and finds her mom and dad waiting there for her. They talk to her about her grades. She gets grounded, but only for a day. First thing in the morning her parents are going to her school to talk about her grades. -
Meeting
Mrs Hackney wanted to talk to her in the office.Her mom and dad were there, all her teachers and the guidance counselor. They asked her what happened and she said, "I like D's, thats why I got them." -
Counselor
Mrs Noyes handed her a note saying to go to Dr. Trindler's office after lunch. Dr.Trindle gave Nora a IQ test, She started to get worried because she didn't know how many to get wrong and right. She tried to mess up on three questions out of every ten. She got really mad when Dr.Trindle wouldn't let her see her score on the test. -
Library
Nora goes into the library, the librarian asks her why a girl who got D's is looking at college sites. Nora tells the librarian that how she is different and her plan.
