William Shakespeare was born April 23, 1564 in Stratford-upon-Avon, England. Shakespeare was the third child of eight born to John and Mary Shakespeare, but he was their first son and their first child to survive past infancy. -

Baptism seem to be a very important obstacle in Shakespeare days. This is the earliest record they have on Shakespeare, but we believe from studies he was born three days before. -

School Days *
It's very likely that Shakespeare attended New Grammar School located in the stratford area. By tradition boys started the grammer school at age seven. Basic reading and writing skill were taught. -
Shakespeare is in Love !
Only 18 Shakespeare married the Anne Hathaway (26 years old). The marriage licence was issued November 27,1582. -
His First Child !
Six months after the marriage Anne gave birth to a daughter, Susanna, baptised 26 May 1583. Soon followed twins, son Hamnet and daughter Judith almost two years later and were baptised February 2,1585. -

In 1585 Shakespeare left his family and began his successful career in London as an actor, writer, and part owner of a playing company called the Lord Chamberlain's Men. Now known as the Kings Men. -

Sadly Shakespeare passed away on his birthday. His last words: "Good friend, for Jesus´ sake forbeare to digg the dust enclosed here! Blest be ye man that spares thes stones, and curst be he that moues my bones." Which were on his tombstone. His burial was recorded in the Stratford Holy Church Register two days later.
