George Vancouver found the Hawaiian Islands. His discovery provided a place for people to live. -
Lewis and Clark
They had one of the most important expiditions of all time, and they found parts of land that we live on today. Lewis and Clark also brought people from different cultures together through trade and friendship. -
Great Seattle Fire
Without the Great Seattle Fire, there would be no underground Seattle today. And this fire helped people redesign how they made buildings to be more "fire friendly" -

He is most known for his finding of the biggest lumber company in Washington. His company has provided wood so people can build houses. -

William Boeing started the most successful aerospace buinsness ever known to people. Boeing builds everything from Fighter planes to Commercial Jets. They bring in people from all over the world which helps Washingtons economy. -
Seattle Worlds Fair
The 1962 Seattle world’s fair was important because it left Seattle on the maps and the point of the fair was to give people a glimpse of what the 21st century was going to be like. -

She helped it so women could vote. She was also a big influence on women during that time and probably now too.. -
