When Olive road her bike across the road one afternoon she wasn't watching very well and she got hit by a car then was flipped off her bike and hit again unexpectedly. That is how Olive got killed.

Olive was a quiet girl and Martha barley knew her. A few days after the tradgic car accident Olive's mom brought her a page from her diary that said "I wish I had more friends, I want to get to know Martha better too." Martha was not expecting that.

Vacation

A few days after Martha recieved the diary note they had to pack up and go to Godbee's (their grandma) for vaction. She used to go there all the time when she was little and being there made the strange connection between her and Olive disapear.

Ocean

Martha knew that Olive alwasy wanted to go to the ocean, but never had the chance to. So when she went on a vacation to her Grandma's, wich was on the ocean Martha knew she would give Olive's mom something that involves the ocean.

Martha meets Jimmy Manning and starts to get a crush on him but when a different guy comes along Jimmy has to prove to Martha that he likes her too. (he gives her a present as a reminder gift of him before she leaves home)
