    Texans made a treaty with Cherokees if they fought with independance with them they could have land titles. Texas failed in giving them that and resulted in multiple raids.

    Texans met in Columbia to organize the new government.

    Comanches are defeated.
  • Mier Expedition "Black Bean"

    Mier Expedition "Black Bean"
    Texans attacked Mexico and surrendured on December 26 1842. Out of 176 prisoners one tenth were to die, so the Mexicans put white and black beans in a jar and the 17 men that picked black beans were executed and the white beaned were sent to prison.
