Lenin and Bolsheviks
1917, the Duma sets up a provincial government but it doesn't solve Russia's problems. Lenin and the Bolsheviks seize power. -
Treaty of Brest-Litovsk
The treaty is signed with Germany in hopes of bringing peace between them. This treaty ended Russias partaking in World War 1. -

Lenin and the Bolsheviks, a very powerful group, won the civil war after 2-3 long years with the reds against the whites. -
