    On November 10th 1920 The General Assembly of The League of Nations met in Geneva for the first time. The League of Nations did not succeed in stopping the big obstacles to peace which took place in the early 1930s. It was powerless to the face of the second war. The overall point was firmly embedded on January 1st 1942. The President of The United States, Roosevelt announced the term United Nations. I think this event was important because it was created to prevent war.

    The Washington Naval Conference was a military conference that was originated by U.S President Warren G Harding.It was held in Washington D.C from November 12th 1921 to February 6th 1922. This Conference was attended by nine nations.The United States,Japan ,China,France, Britain, Italy, Belgium, Netherlands and Portugal. It resulted in 3 major treaties 4 Power Treaty,5 Power Treaty and 9 Power Treaty.These treaties preserved peace during the 1920s but were not renewed during the Great Depression

    Benito Mussolini was an Italian journalist. He was the leader of the National Fascist Party. Benito ruled the country a Prime Minster from 1922 till 1943. He ruled constitutionally until 1925 when he dropped all pretense of democracy and the set up as a legal dictatorship. Benito was supportive of the Socialist International.
    This event was important because once Mussolini became the ruler of Italy he became an axis along with Germany.

    Pact of Locarno was a series of agreements where Germany, France, Belgium, Great Britain, and Italy promised peace in Western Europe. The treaties came together at Locarno Switz on the date October 16th. Then was signed in London on the first of December.
    I think this is important because there was a lot of tension between other countries and this agreement promised peace.

    The Enabling Act of 1933 was passed by the Reichstag party of Germany and was signed by President Paul Von Hindenburg. The legislation was representing the second major step in Hitler's rise to power. Through the passing of the Enabling Act it obtained a lot of powers and legally established his dictatorship. The Enabling Act allowed Hitler to assume control of the government and vauled him into a position of unquestioned power.

This prohibited Jewish households from being able to have German maids younger than 45 years old. It also banned any non Jewish German from marrying a Jewish person. I think this was an important event because I stopped people from living their normal life and was the beginning of Anti-Semitism which Is hatred of the Jews.

I think this I an important event because Germany was one of the countries that were mostly involved with the war.

I think this is important because it was a appeasement agreement to try to get Hilter to give in.
