Beach Slang

This band is known for singing songs about underground basements; however, they are quickly making their way into popularity. They are currently on tour with Jimmy Eat World playing notable venues around the nation.

Cheerleader

2012 BCE

Members of Cheerleader moved from Connecticut to Philadelphia to begin their music careers. They quickly started getting attention after putting some demos on soundcloud. They are now signed to Bright Antenna Records and have been making indie pop music ever since.

CRUISR

2011 BCE

Sharing a similar vibe with Vacationer, these new kids on the block have experienced major success early on in their musical journey. They played Firefly 2015, along with Made In America Festival. It all started with vocalist, Andy States writing and recording their entire first EP in his Philadelphia bedroom.

Modern Baseball

Fairly new to the scene, "mobo" has quickly earned a name for themselves, becoming the face of modern pop punk. They were able to establish a fanbase both in the U.S. and across seas. In 2014, they even toured in the U.K.

Vacationer

2010 BCE

During The Starting Line’s hiatus, frontman and Philadelphia native Kenny Vasoli began this new project. Vacationer established the nu-hula genre and went on to play Firefly 2015. They've also created two studio albums. Their second album, Relief landed a spot on Billboard's "Top 10 Heatseekers" Albums.

The Menzingers

With a strong pop-punk scene already established in Philly, these guys stepped up to make a name for punk rock in 2005. They're currently touring the U.S., Europe, and Japan in honor of their latest album.

The War on Drugs

Out of their three full-length studio albums, their latest "Lost In The Dream" has received the most praise. It was featured in Rolling Stone’s “50 Best Albums of 2014” and appeared in the 2015 American film, "Papertowns." All of their success began right here in Philadelphia.

The Wonder Years

Growing up on other Philadelphian pop punk bands like The Starting Line and Valencia, it’s no surprise The Wonder Years are now world touring legends. They're known for referencing their city with pride in songs like “Melrose Diner” and “Logan Circle."

Circa Survive

2004 BCE

Oddly enough, this band is composed of musicians who left their original hardcore bands. Former Saosin, This Day Forward, and Taken members formed Circa Survive and went on to record five studio albums, all landing spots on Billboard charts.

The Starting Line

1999 BCE

These guys were the first band to put Philly on the map during the pop-punk era of the early 2000's. They were also one of the first bands to sign to drive-thru records, an independent label that was able to sell over 7 million CDs, bringing underground pop punk and demo bands into the mainstream.
