During The Starting Line’s hiatus, frontman and Philadelphia native Kenny Vasoli began this new project. Vacationer established the nu-hula genre and went on to play Firefly 2015. Circa Survive
Oddly enough, this band is composed of musicians who left their original hardcore bands. Former Saosin, This Day Forward, and Taken members formed Circa Survive and went on to record five studio albums, all landing spots on Billboard charts. -

The Starting Line
These guys were the first band to put Philly on the map during the pop-punk era of the early 2000's. They were also one of the first bands to sign to drive-thru records, an independent label that was able to sell over 7 million CDs, bringing underground pop punk and demo bands into the mainstream.
