  • First Video Uploaded

    The first video uploaded to Youtube was called "Me at the Zoo". It was 18 seconds long. In April 2005.
  • Beta Version

    Youtube launced it's beta version to the public. In May 2005
  • 1 Million Views

    Youtube's first video to hit 1 million views was called "Golden Boots", it was about a Brazilian soccer player receiving his pair of boots. In October 2005

    Youtube finally launched out of beta and was available to the public. In December 2005.
  • Remove that Video

    Saturday Night Live's sketch made it to youtube "Lazy Sunday", and it received million of views. NBC had youtube take down the video. In February 2006.

    Google acquires youtube for $1.65 billion, and the cofounders each get $400 million. Later on the headquaters move to San Bruno, California. In October 2006.

    Google launches a family friendly version of the platform called Youtube Kids. In February 2015.
  • Youtube Red (Premium)

    Youtube unviels Youtube Red, it gives subscribers videos and music without ads and access to exclusive content. 3 years later it is now called Youtube Premium. In October 2015.

    A women opens fire on youtube headquaters in San Bruno. 3 injured and killed herself. In April 2018
