The Lend-Lease Act served as a law allowing FDR, the United States, to send food and supplies to countries in need opposing the Axis powers. -

Atlantic Charter
President Woodrow Wilson and Prime Minister Winston Churchill signed a joint declaration stating the views of the USA and England for mapping the world after the war. Many Allied nations followed and joined. -

A Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor initiating the US military involvement in WWII. The attack demonstrated the Japanese alliance with Germany. -
Baatan Death March
After the US surrender of Luzon to the Japanese troops, prisoners both American and Philippine were forced to make a deadly 65 mile march to prison camps. 76,000 prisoners were taken. 10,000 men died. -
Doolittle Raid
A US aerial bombardment on the Japanese capital of Tokyo and nearby islands. It proved to be moral boosting for the US troops. It proved that Japan itself was vulnerable. -
Battle of Coral Sea
Major Naval battle between the US and Japan. This was the first Air-Sea battle in World War 2. The US proved victorious over the Japanese.
