Hitler invades Poland-WWII begins

Winston Churchill becomes leader of British government
After losing a confidence vote in the House of Commons Neville Chamberlain, former prime minister of Britain, was replaced with Winston Churchill. Germany Surrenders

Atomic Bomb #1

Japan Surrenders
Japan's navy and airforce were completely destroyed around this time, they had no choice but to surrender.
