September 1st 1939, German forces attacked polish artillery from battleship without warning. This was aided by aircraft and platoons which invaded polish shores. This was the result of a gamble hitler had taken, because the army was not yet at full strength.Hitler had invaded Poland. Fall of Paris
German forces invaded the close smaller countries before the attack of France on May 10th, 1940. On June 22nd, 1940, The germans had made the french sign a treaty, giving Germany the win in France. This would lead to Germany getting closer to England without resistance.
