Blogger
This website was used so that all our research and planning , filming and post production could be clearly presented in one place. At first it was hard to control as i had never used a blog before , but after a while i new how to navigate the website including uploading both images and videoes. -
Scribd
This website was used to file any written text that where more important then everyday notes, which included research from bbfc and the scripts of both our prelimary task and final product. This website was moderatley easy to use , and made scripts have a cleaner polish once upload on the blog. -
Youtube
this website was used neumourous of times throughout the duration of our media product. It was first used to watch the opening of many psychological thrillers to analyse including Orphan. It was then used to uplaod our preliminary and final media product on once post production had commenced. Being apart of the 'youtube generation' i found this website extremely easy to use as i had used it for non-educational reasons before. -
Netflix
Netflix was only used to watch a list of psychological thriller so that the group could come up with ideas for the opening. this also helped the group to become familiar with conventions and the icongraphy of the thriller genre.Netflix also helped the group to distinguish characteristics and a costume for our chosen character. -
DSLR Camera
This was one of the hardest technologies to use. Having many different components on the camera , we had to play around with the different buttons to get the correct shot type for our media product. The learning process of the camera was when we did our test shoot , where we was able to practice different shot types which would look proffessional. Throughout the duration of the production using the camera became easier which allowed filming to become more efficent. -
Tripod
The tripod was used to steady the camera we used , this was easy to use and helped to get steady shot as well as high and low level angles. -
Usb
This was mainly used to make usre that are footage can be found if deleted if the camera memory card. Along side th ememeory card if was used to trnasfer footage from the camera to the imac -
iMac
The imac wa sused to help surf the web , and edit our video. Seeing as the imac is powered by appl eit was very difficult for the group to get use to apple software as we where used to software used by microsoft. It was easy to navigate and made it easier to edit. -
Final Cut Pro
This softwar ewas used to edit our rough cut and final cut. this was extremly hard to navigate at first . There was many differnt compartments to get a polished look to the final cut which i find hard to do. Although after i used if for a few week and played around with the many different buttons it became more easier and clear , ensuring that our media product was editored correctly. -
DaFonts.com
This website was used to get copyright free fonts for the titles of the opening. this website was easy to both find fonts and download to the imac. I found this website very useful from its simplicity and large libary -
