Fall of Singapore

The Fall of Singapore occurred between 7 Feb. 1942 – 15 Feb. 1942. It occurred when the Empire of Japan invaded the British stronghold of Singapore. People involved were the Malaysian Command, and the Japanese Navy.

Coral Sea

The Coral Sea battle started on the 4th of May and ended on the 8th. This war occurred because of a Japanese attack. The countries involved in the battle were the United States, Australia and Japan.

Midway Battle

The Midway Battle occurred in 1942. It happened because the Japanese burnt the US's ships. The countries involved were the United States and Japan

Guadalcanal

This event lasted from between ‎7 August 1942 – 9 February 1943. It started when the Japanese troops launched a surprise attack and took control of an air base under construction. People involved were the US, UK, Soloman Islands, Fiji, Australia, NZ, Tonga, Japan.

Bombing Of Darwin.

1942

This battle took place on the 19 February 1942. On that day, 242 Japanese aircraft, in two separate raids, attacked the town, ships in Darwin's harbour and the town's two airfields. Australia, US and Japan were involved.

Leyte Gulf

1944

This battle happened during 23–26 October 1944. It happened as part of a strategy aimed at isolating Japan from the countries it had occupied in Southeast Asia. Countries involved were US, Australia and Japan.
