Danzig and the Polish Corridor
The settlement of Paris created a corridor that gave the newly independent Poland access to the Baltic Sea. Hitler wanted to build a highway and railroad across Poland to connect Germany, Danzig and East Prussia. Poland refused Hitler's demands. -
