  • The First Democratic Convention

    The First Democratic Convention
This first event is the first national meeting of democrats all over the country and it took place in Baltimore, Maryland. They shared their thoughts, and ideas of improving the country through a democratic and liberal perspective. Also, they came together to come up with a person who would compete against Andrew Jackson in this election. I went to see this first because I agree with the democratic and liberal views on things, and I wanted to join in on sharing ideas and thoughts on improvement.
  • First Opening of The New York Times

First Opening of The New York Times
The first opening of this newspaper was in Manhattan, New York. It's significance to history is how it is one of the most popular and influential newspapers in American History. I went go see this specific opening because I believe New York is such a great city, and my passion for writing led me here to get some great tips from journalisms who worked there.
  • The Titanic

    The Titanic
Southampton, England was the date this incredibly famous ship set sail. The Titanic had a tragic ending by how it's ship sunk when it disastrously hit an iceberg in the water on April 12th, 1912. The reason for my interest in seeing it sail was to see the excitement and joy in everyone's faces before most of them were going to soon face their death.
  • Jazz Age

    Jazz Age
Welcome to the roaring 20's! Here in the Jazz Age, you will have the time of your life; amazing music, extremely talented dancers, and plenty more. When traveling through time, my decision on stopping in the 20's was definitely not a hard one to make. I had one of the most terrific times ever listening to old music (good music), meeting new people, and learning new dance moves!
  • The Hippy Movement

    The Hippy Movement
"Make love, not war!" The hippie movement started in the early 60's in San Francisco, California. It started when the Vietnam War was taking place, and people want to stop the violence and just make peace. Thus, the hippie movement; a group of thousands of people who wanted nothing but peace, love, happiness, and unity in the world. Visiting during this time really opened my eyes to how the world could be with these 4 elements, instead of hatred and war.
  • First Beatles Concert

    First Beatles Concert
Enjoy yourself, as you listen to the beautifully melodic voices infront of you. The Beatles were an English band in the 60's, and believed in world peace, and being content with life. Their music is famous and has brought millions together by how moving, and inspirtational it is. Personally, their music is one of my favorites and I listen to it so much. It touches my heart, and many other people's hearts as well.
  • I Have A Dream Speech

    I Have A Dream Speech
Listening to this remarkably moving speech, it fills my eyes with tears. How could the world be so filled with hatred against their own kind? We are all human, we should all have the same rights and freedom. Everyone is supposed to be equal, and that is what the 'I Have A Dream Speech' is about. Going back in time to see this is amazing, and I wish I would've been there when it actually took place.
