Teddy seeks a third term as a "Bull Moose" candidate
After failing to get the Republican nomination, Roosevelt created the "Bull Moose" party and ran for president a third time. He supported women's suffrage, social welfare for families, farm relief, reforms in the finance industry, health insurance, and worker's compensation. This made him a true "progressive" candidate.
