Jimmy Page was born on January 9, 1944 in Heston, Middlesex, England as James Patrick Page. Page first picked up the guitar at age 13 when he moved into his new home and the previous house owner left his guitar in Page's new home. (Page 5). -

Jimmy first caught the public’s eye, 13 -year old member of a skiffle band on the BBC’s All Your Own in 1957 (Page 1). -
Session Guitarist
Jimmy was England's top session guitarist and producer. Jimmy recorded with bands such as The Rolling Stones, The Kinks, The Who, Van Morrison, David Bowie and much more. -
The Yardbirds
During his studio wotk, Jimmy was asked to play bass for the Yardbirds, The Yardbirds consisted of legends Eric Clapton and Jeff Beck. After those 2 had left the Yardbirds because of conflicts, Jimmy became the lead guitar player of the blues band (Page 5). -
Start of Led Zeppelin
At 21 years old, Jimmy met John Paul Jones, another session ace who could play every instrument under the sun. The two wanted to form a mega star group band, they hire fsinger Robert Plant and drummer John Bonham. The group became Led Zeppelin (Page 5). -
