During a Chicago Blackhawks practice, Stan Mikita tweeked the blade of his Hockey stick so that it resembled a V. When he took shot with the crooked blade, and the rsults were amazing. Soon after sticks all over the world began to be produced with a slightly curved blade. -

After Easton began making the Aluminum shaft stick, a new technology appeared in the fully composite one piece stick. This type of stick is th most current and popular modle of stick.
