Warriors of the Fourth crusaade, they launched in 1202 to recapture Jerusalem, and reached the walls of Constantinople. The city had been brutally attacked and the new Latin Empire was established. -

Pope Innocent III had launched the fifth crusade. The aim was for the land on the coast of Eygpt and head towards Jerusalem. The crusaders eventually retreated and didnt secure any land. -
