Born
Suzanne Marie Collins was born in the 10th of August, 1962, in Hartford, Connecticut. She was also the youngest of four children. When she was younger, she and her family were always moving to different places, since her father was and officer of the U.S Air Force. Although, she spent most of her childhood in the Eastern part of the United States. -
Beginning Career
Later on, Suzanne started writing short shows on T.V for children (mostly Nickelodeon), such as Clarissa Explains It, The Mystery Files of Shelby Woo, Oswald and Little Bear... Plus, she was head writer of Clifford’s Puppy Days for Scholastic Entertainment. [not exact date] -
Hunger Games is published
Suzanne started writing the Hunger Games soon after she finished Underland Chronicals in 2007. It turned out to be another best-seller, read through all ages. -
Cacthing Fire is published
The second book of the Hunger Games, sold more than 350000. Another best-seller. -
Mockingjay is published
Book number three, the last book of the trilogy is published... another best-seller. -
Hunger Games - The Movie comes out
Starring Jennifer Lawrance as Katniss Everdeen, and Josh Hutcherson as Peeta Mellark. Lionsgate transformed the first book of the best-selling trilogy into a movie. -
Catching Fire comes out
The second best-selling book urns into a movie. Although it is split into 2 parts. Same actors excpet for the director, Francis Lawrance, which will also direct the following movies.
