13th Amendment (Law1)
Says that slavery is prohibited,banned,or abolished in U.S. Change: There were no more auctions, slaves were freed, there was no more suffering and pain. They didnt have to worry about getting whipped or punished. Whites would have no more slaves therefore blacks got there freedom. Etc Was passed by congress on January 31st, 1965. -
Civil Rights Act (Law2)
The Civil Rights Act gives citizenship to African Americans (A.A.) and guarentees equal protection under the law. Change: Every African American is now treated equal, they are relieved. No more slaves. -
14th Amendment (Law3)
This amendment prevents states from denying rights to any born U.S. citizen. It forbids a state from denying any individual life, libery, or propery without some process of law. A state could not also deny any individual the equal protection of laws. Change: Nobody was mistreated. Everybody felt fair and equally cared for.

Fifthteenth Amendment (Law5)
Gives all citizens the right to vote regardless of color, race, or former servitude. Change: African Amaericans could vote without paying any extra fees or being completly denied to vote. -
Enforcement Act (Law4)
Empowers federal authorities to punish violators of the fourteenth and fifthteenth amendments. Change: People respected the laws more. There was less trouble. -
