When I was little, I loved my Shera and Thunder Cats cartoons; so much so that my mom would record them on to a VCR tape. For the longest time that tape was my favorite thing. I still have it too; my kids even used to watch it. -

My first CD stereo
The summer before I started junior high, my parents got me a 100 disc CD stereo. I thought it was the coolest thing, granted I didn't have nearly that many CDs. -

Laptops and installation discs
During high school, we were required to type and print our essay papers in order to get credit. At the time, all my teachers wanted us to used Microsoft works; which you had to download from a cd disc. Every app/program you wanted on your computer you had to do that. -
