The Day I Was Born
This was the day that I was born and came into this world. It is important to me becuase it reminds me of all the years that have passed and all the years left for me to enjoy life. -
My First Plane Trip:Bangladesh
This was my first time out of a country and in a plane. It was also the first time I met my grandparents and that was really special to me since they are my grandparents. I have seen so many pictures of me playing with their neighbours, dressing up like a princess and those pictures make me realize how special that one trip was! -
My Baby Sister Was Born
This was the day my sister was born. It was a really exciting day for me since this was the day I would get a new sister. Unfortuneatly, she had to stay at SickKids Hospital for about four months or so since she had a heart problem and there wasn't really a great chance that she would survive so her birthday is really special since we remeber how many years it has been where she has been with us! -
Family Vacation: California
This was my our first family vacation with our whole family. Since I was really young I don't remember much but the one thing that I do remember is all the fun I had with my family and friends who lived in California! This was also really special since it was also the first time I went to DisneyLand and I got my first electronic device, a GameBoy! The fact that I got to spend time with my family is probably what made this vacation really special. -
My First Day At Girl Guides
Girl GuidesThis day would probably go down as one of my top 50 favourite days in my whole life. It was the day I started Girl Guides and the reason that this is so special is because it is something that I have continued for the rest of my life! Now in Grade 7, 7 years later, I still go to Girl Guides since it teaches me so much about being a good person, being prepared and it fills me with knowledge about a variety of topics. If I never started Girl Guides I probably would not be the person I am today! -
Family Vacation: Uncle's Holiday Home in Florida
This vacation is the one vacation where our whole family from my dads side spent time together! There are so many memories that I have from this trip like sleeping on the floor since there were no beds, the time I fell into the swimming pool, and how we spent so much time shopping. It was also fun just having a ton of people that you love all together in one house for a week! -
My Uncle Getting Installed As President of Western University
I went to my uncle's installation ceremony at the University of Western Ontariowith the rest of my family! This was very inspiring for me becuase ever since I was small I have always wanted to become some sort of teacher and him becoming the president just inspired me to keep on going and not give up! I also felt honured an proud to be the niece of such a prestigious universities president! -
Recieveing The Kumon G by 5 Award
This award is an award that I will never forget. It will always remind me of how hard I worked to get to Algebra by Grade 5 and all the difficulties I had through the levels that are now so easy for me! -
My First Day of Middle School
This was a very nerv-racking day for me! I remember being a little scared about going to a different school and everything but I realized that Ruth Thompson is probably the best school in the whole world because it has so much to offer! There are so many things to do and see and the teachers are all fantastic! -
Recieving The Kumon J200 Award
This award was the second official award that I got from Kumon! It is very special to me because like the first award I got I worked hard for it and it meant that I was one step closer to finishing the program once an for all! -
Getting The Art Award
The art award is probably the award that I am most proud of so far in my life other than my Kumon Award. All throughout elementary school I didn't do very well in art so it was a nice surprise that I got the Art Award and it meant that somebody appreciated my works of art! It also meant that I was improving at something I wasn't very good at!
