The Day I Was Born
I was born on May 28th, 2003 at Bryn Mawr Hospital. The day was kind of an adventure because I was 2 weeks early and the night before, my sister, Sarah had a fever of 103 and was hallucinating. She even saw gorillas coming out of the walls so my mom had spent the night on the floor of her bedroom. -
Notables
Notables was my first musical ever. It was actually at Penncrest so Penncrest's stage will always have a very special place in my heart. I was in the number Hard Knock Life from Annie and I remember feeling so excited when I would have rehearsal after school. -
Poetry Competition
In 4th grade, my teacher told us to right a poem using mostly metaphors. At that time, I never really knew how much I loved writing and how it was a good way to let out my emotions. So I wrote about my grandfather who had passed away 4 years before. I remember reading to the class and my teacher starting to cry. She decided to put it into a competition for DELCO and a month later, I had found out that I had won. I have since then wanted to have a great affect on people and have loved poetry. -
Circle A Ranch
Ever since she was 10, my mom went to this 2 week leadership overnight trip. And me and my sisters turned 10, we went to. At the end of the session, the camp hands out awards to the people who have made a huge impact, are supportive, and who are leaders awards. I ended up getting the highest award, The Dynamic Attitude award, which I think is funny because I don't think a lot of people would see or think of me as the person I am without the stress of school of fitting in. -
Wicked (First Professional Show)
In July of 2013, Sarah and Rachel were both at sleep away camp, so my parents ended up taking me to the Academy of Music to see my, then at the time, obsession, Wicked. My parents found it so life changing that we took both my sisters when they got home. That summer I saw Wicked 3 times (with the help of lottery and rush tickets). -
France and Sweden
I had the opportunity of a life time to go to France and Sweden with my cousin and aunt and uncle...WITHOUT my parents or sisters. It was one of the best times of my life and you know what is funny, I enjoyed Sweden way more than France. -
Bye Bye Birdie
I found out about the theatre company YPTW in 2016 and took a couple of their classes. In the spring of 2017, I auditioned for Bye Bye Birdie and ended up getting Kim. It has been my favorite show I was in ever since then. -
Hawaii
My grandparents took me, my sisters, and my cousin to Hawaii this past summer and let me tell you, it really is paradise. -
YPTW Camp
During Bye Bye Birdie, i did not become close friends with anyone. But when I did YPTW sleep away camp, I formed a friends group that I never want to break apart. -
Present Day
That brings us to now, freshman year. Well, this year I have the best friends I have ever had. But I am constantly tired and stressed but that is just the package deal with growing up.
