A nurse in the making
As far back as I can remember I wanted to be a nurse! -
I always knew I wanted to be a nurse when I grew up.
My aunt Patti lived with us when I was young. She was my favorite person and she was a nurse! I wanted to be just like her when I grew up! 42 years later she was at my pinning ceremony -

Nurse of the Month
Still a "greenie" on the med-surg/tele floor at my first nursing job and was awarded nurse of the month. Such validation for working so hard and most of the time not getting recognized. -
Loma Linda Oncology
Fallbrook Hospital shut down. I continued on in my nursing journey by taking a position at Loma Linda Murrieta on the Oncology Floor -
Per Diem RN at Temecula Center for Integrative Medicine
I've always loved the philosophy of treating the "entire person" and not just the disease. TCIM's medical providers utilize multiple modalities in the medical care offered at their facility. -
Offered Lead RN Position at TCIM
Went part time at Loma Linda and full time at TCIM. I am in charge of the IV department, hiring RN's, and ordering all supplies -
Disabled husband
Todd lost his job and was never able to go back to work again due to complications from poor management of type 1 diabetes. Our financial future was now on my shoulders, but I didn't want to write any more papers! -
RN Clinical Supervisor
Offered position of RN clinical supervisor. I run the IV department and lead a team of 8 RN's and 7 MA's -
Lost my biggest fan, my Dad
My dad was my biggest fan. He loved unconditionally and let me know how proud he was of me. At this same time I almost lost my husband of almost 33 years. I knew that I needed to make myself more marketable in my field of nursing. -
ADN to BSN Program
Tal twisted my arm and wouldn't let go so here I am :) I've thought about going back to school multiple times over the past 10 years. I'd actually get sick to my stomach thinking about writing papers so I would put that thought out of my head. I just needed a little extra push and an amazing new University to continue on with my educational journey. Thank you Tal! -
IV room expansion at TCIM
I continue to run the IV department at TCIM and have hired the most amazing nurses. Our RN team is phenomenal! -
Volunteer and travel on medical mission trips.
If my health and stamina hold out I would love to volunteer my time and nursing skills to those in underdeveloped countries -
Tal wins President of the World with my support
Best candidate ever! APA will now stay the same forever!
