    Williams Clark and Meriwether Louis prepaired for the expedition since Fall 1803. As they started, they upstream on the Missouri River, they were on lookout for Natives. By late July, they travled 600 miles without spotting a single Native.

    Sacagewea saved as much as she could after the vessel she was in almost crashed. This was a major action for getting to the rocky mountains.

    Lewis and Clark came apon a fork in the river, which was a gamble to continue on. They couldnt afford to take the wrong choice, but after convinced that the North Branch, they took the Southern branch to find indians who assured them they were on the right track.

    Lewis had become the first white men to see the Great Falls of the Missouri River, and three days later, Clark rejoined him for the expedition.

    Lewis and Clark returned as heros after 2 years, 4 months, and 10 days. They were greeted in St. Louis by nearly a thousand people.
