Christopher Columbus in Americas
On a voyage to India Christopher Columbus ends up in the Americas. With this was the beginning of the Spanish rule in Spain. -
Francisco De Miranda
Francisco was exlied from Venezuela and had 500 soldiers who were British and American. This group landed in Venezuela and tried to free South America from independence. Hope to get help from Venezulians that were against the Spanish. The way this connects to these events is that Fransico had dreams to liberate south America just like the French Revolution. He as well traveled to around the world to get help from people. -
Removing the Spainsh King Ferdinand VII
In 1808 Napoleon wanted to continue his conquest through out Spain and created revolts in spain because of removing Spain's King Ferdinand VII and made his brother as King of Spain. The only reason this is important is because this event was start of the revolution. The people did not except the King because none of the people believed in the King at all simply because he was French. -
Cry of Dolores
Miguel Hilago was another person who was inspried by the many revolutions that happen in France and America. As well as the enlightenment ideas. He rang the bell in village of his church in Dolores. The peasants gathered in the church and speeched for a rebellion against the Spainsh. Simon Bolivar and the Revolution

Bernando O'Higgins: Returns to Chile
After his defeat in Chile Jose De San Martin supported O'Higgins and had a plan to take back Chile by crossing the Andes. O'Higgins, San Martin and there 5000 Soldiers crossed the Andes and was able to invade Chile with out engaging the enemy as fast. The battle before this lead O'Higgins and the Carrea in a defeat and had to retreat from the battle. But after getting help from San Martin was able to take back Chile -

Simon Bolivar through the Andes
After getting exiled for 2 times Simon Bolivar lead 2000 soldiers on a daring march through the Andes and caught the bogta by surprise and was able to conquer them. The reason why this was important is Simon was able to command Venezuela as well as being elected as president. Venezuela's Independence
Simon Bolivar was able to flush out the remaining Royalists that he was battling during the Venzuelas revolution. But by this time Bolivar was able to defeat the rest of the Spanish hold and was elected president of Venezuela. By getting help from a general Simon was able to come back and help Venezuela -
Liberation of Ecuador
Simon Bolivar wanted to keep freeing states from the Spanish ruling, But he was stuck with the politics and sent Antonio Jose de Sucre one of his Generals to liberate Ecuador and any villages that were held under the Spainsh influence.
