    This case was about a handicapped boy that a pre kindergarten program would not place in a class with non handicapped students. The parent said this was a violation of the Education of the Handicapped Act. Handicapped students are entitled to free appropriate public education.

  • Winkelman v. Parma City School Dist., 550 U.S.

    This case was about Jacob a boy that had autism spectrum disorder and his family arguing the point that when an agreement of an IEP could not be reached, the parents had a right to an impartial due process hearing. The argument was whether nonlawyer parent could raise IDEA claims.
