Biography
Born and raised in Scranton, PA, Kathleen attended public grade-school and received her bachelor's degree at the University of Scranton. She later attended the Temple University of Law and earned her J.D. and launched her legal career at Post & Schell, P.C. in the field of civil litigation. She then returned home to take a position as an assistant district attorney for Lackawanna County. -

Kane Shuts Down Sting Operation
While Corbett was attorney general in 2010, PA's Attorney Gerneal office began an undercover operation that involved government officals accepting money on tape and no one was later charged with a crime. Kane later shut down this operation on the belief that is was badly managed, poorly conceived, and it was 'tainted by racism'. -

It's revealed that numerous sexually explicit emails were sent and shared in the database of the Attorney General's office. -

Kane hands over 4,000 emails to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court Chief Justice Ron Castille. -
