Contract Signed
The dates of converstion are usually determined three to five months in advance. An installation team may also be established at this time. -
Order Forms and Supplies
This step should happen two to three months before the implimentation of the new system. This inclues computuer paper, ribbion and registation cards. -
Prepare for Hardware Installation
This usually happens two to three months before the installation. This process includes confirming hardware delivery dates, scheduling the installation of the communication cables, electrical lines and fire equiptment. -
Provide Vendor With Information to Build Database
This happens one or two months prior to installation. This step includes providing room rates, codes, feature rates, descriptions and resports. -
Verify Conversion Date
This step is done one month in advance of inplimentation and includes making final arragements for equiptment installation. -
Equiptment Arrives
This step includes the delivery of equiptment. You want to make sure to compare and contrast specifications, set up a training room and install test hardware and cabels. -
Training Schedule
Two weeks prior to installation a training schedule should be confirmed. -
Night Audit Inplimentation
System goes live the nexy day after this process -
Systems Monitoring
Vendors monitor systems to make sure there are no problems. -
Vendor Counsel
This happens until the PMS coordinator is satisfied. -
Training Begings
One week prior to installation employees should be traning and setting up reservations in the new system.
