Democritus Atom in 400 B.C.
Democritus stated that the atom was the smallest piece of an
object that cannoot be broken down into any smallelr pieces. Democritus was the founder of the atom. Williams, Matt. "John Dalton's Atomic Model." Universe Today. N.p., 01 Dec. 2014. Web. 20 Feb. 2015. -
Dalton atom
Dalton stated that the atome is comprised of electrons and nuetrons and he also agreed with Democritus and stated that the atom is the smallest piece of an object and he used the model billard balls.

Thomson Atom
He said that the atom is made up of protons and nuetrons. He used the scientific theoroy to come up witht this discovery. Dewiit. "Thomson Model of the Atom." GaggleTube Video - Models of the Atom Timeline. N.p., n.d. Web. 19 Feb. 2015. -
Rutherford
Rutherford discovered that the nucleus is positively charged and depending on the atoms it reflects back on the alpha particles. He said the positive charge was in the middle of the atom.Ernest Rutherford used the "Gold Foil Experiment" to discover atoms.

Bohr
Bohr discovered that the electrons were not randomly floating around, so he added rings into his model and put them neatly on there. He learned that the negatively charged electrons would be attracted by the nucleus (positive). To conclude, opposites attract.

Schrodinger
He came up with an equation that allowed him to find the energy levels of the electrons.
