This program was put into place to give students nutritionally balanced food at a price that their family can afford. So many students come to school hungry that sometimes the only place they get food is at school. -

These nine African American students shaped the culture of school by enrolling in Little Rock Central High School. Schools from then on were no longer allowed to segregate. -

This law prohibits discrimination based on sex and all parts of education. -
The Children with Disabilities PL 94-142
This law guaranteed a free appropriate education to each student with a disability. It offered an equal right and opportunities for all students. -

This Act holds schools accountable for student achievement. It helps disadvantaged students to reach the same goals that the advantage students have.
