Where I'm From
Where I’m From
I’m from a crazy and unknown world
Through which I’m being hurled
Such a small and insignificant speck I am
No matter the conditions, obstacles, or weather
I’m from the heart of goodness
Trying not to follow
Fun and games, crazy names
I’m from family photos put in frames
So many things gone wrong
I never knew my uncle was so strong
I’m from a childhood of family and friends
I was happy as a kid
At least I can pretend
Creating my own way
That’s all I’ve got to say Note: the thing -
Starting 9th Grade (Again)
Because of a month spent in the hospital, I withdrew from school and had to take 9th grade again. -
Starting at Etowah!
I switched to Etowah at the start of my sophomore year. I started off by having to test out of classes, because none of my credits transferred, so I began the semester 3 credits behind. Still technically a freshman for a third year. -
Architecture
My entire sophomore and junior year I took Architecture, which was probably one of the most fun classes I've ever taken. Mr. Grummer's skill as a teacher paired with a unique blend of amazing people allowed me to meet a long of my friends from Etowah. -
Mrs. Mournaghan tapes Zach Lord to a chair.
This is honestly one of my most memorable highschool experiences. Zach Lord, being the extremely agreeable person that he is, was disrupting my Spanish 1 class and Mrs. Mournaghan taped him to a chair to keep him from moving. -
Rockclimbing near Stone Mountain
A rather unique experience for me. Rockcliming near stone mountain was honestly one of the most fun things I've ever done. The sense of adrenaline was probably a first for me. -
Homecoming Game Senior Year
Etowah Football
I didn't go do a single football game until this year, and it perfectly explained why I avoid extracurricular activities like the plague. The event was filled with what appeared to be young children being loud and messing everything up. -
Where I'm Going
Where I’m Going
I’m going to a bright and wondrous place
I’m going to college to get a degree
I’ll study and sleep and do all things neat
Pass all my classes like it’s no big feat
Travel to places unknown
Experience places not my own
Through more schooling I go
Four more classes in a row
Leaving behind places I know
My vast pool of knowledge will soon grow
I’ll make my own life
Maybe one day have a wife
Where I’m going even I can’t see
I’m really ready to be set free
I’m ready to go on to my own
