The day of the war begun
September 1st was the day that world war two begun,when Germany invades Poland. -
first transpot
The first group of jews were brought to Aushwitz consentration camp. By may of 1941, Aushwitz was known for its torture and mass shooting. -
The Ghetto opens
On october 1st in1940 the polish Ghetto were Halina and her mother were taken, opens sending thier first few jews there and making them work like slaves. -
Warsaw Ghetto Sealed
The Warsaw Ghetto was enclosed by a ten feet high wall topped with barbed wire. -

Halina's mother dies
halina mother dies with a bunch of other women when she was at work. They were all shot at the edge of a pit. -
Escaping the ghetto
Halina and her best friend Batya escape the ghetto with 3 other boys in the under groung tunnel. -
Batya is missing
One night when Halina, Batya, and the 3 boys are in a barn 2 of the boys and Batya go looking for food but dont come back. -
A stranger finds them
While Batay and the 2 boys are missing, Halina and Reuven (the boy) are found by a man and taken to a safe encampment. -
Batya is found
While search through the woods, Baya is found unconscious next to a tree. Once she is conscious, Halina and Reuven find out that the other two boys were murderd by german soldiers. -
Their first mission
Batya offered to have her and Halina go on a mission to get more food, because they were small and get into small places. -
Thier cought
Halina and Batya go to a house to beg for food but a German open the door and they get cought. When they are cought , they both are beaten and when Batya in being beaten Halina escapes but Batya does not. Once she escapes she then runs to the barn to find the rest of the group but they left her, but Reuven was there and they went and killed the soldiers and got Batya back. -
Back at the encampment
Once they get back to the encampment, they find out that they germans are moving closer, but the leader in charge does nothing. A few days after getting back, the germans came and they must escape without getting killed or taken, in which they do escape. -
Everyone is safe
Once everyone is to the other side of the river that cross they start to look for Reuven who had to stay behind and fight the germans. Evenually after a couple days of searching, they find him and he is safe and not hurt. -
The war has ended
