Sharmaine's Start of Retirement: Integrity vs Despair
Sharmaine has better health practices than ever. Her grandchildren are more in her life. Most importantly, she enjoys the life she lived and excited to see what the future holds. Erikson's last stage is when a person looks back on their life and questions if they are proud of his life achievements. This does not necessarily have to be the end of someone's life. Failure to realize this stage will cause the person to be depressed and unhappy with their life and look back with regret.
