Floppy Disks Invented

CD-ROM Arrives!
In 1982 CD-ROM makes its way onto the e-storage scene. These were especially popular for recording music albums. (Out with the 8-tracks and cassette tapes, in with the CD's). However, they of course stored many other electronic files besides music. I still have 100's of CD's in my drawer full of family photos and old music! -
