Friends David Packard and Bill Hewlett founded Hewlett-Packard in their Palo Alto, California garage in 1939. HP 200A Audio Oscillator is the object of their creation, and many engineers order them, which makes these two men very successful. -
Harvard Mark I

At first was a special effects group for lucasarts, but was eventually bought by Steve Jobs for 10 million dollars and then renamed it Pixar, which was eventually bought by disney in 2006. -

Each chip contained over 1 million transistors and 32-bit logic unit.
