The boundary of New South Wales was
separated by Holland and New South Wales. -
Van Diemen’s Land
The second punishment for convicts who had committed a crime in New South Wales was going to Van Diemen’s Land. Also at the same time, the border of New South Wales was moved west. -
Western Australia
They renamed New Holland to Western Australia -
South Australia
South Australia was officially made as a free colony in 1836. -
North Australia
European settlement has slowly started expanding to coastal parts of the northern side of Australia from the 1820s. -
Victoria
In 1836 settlers from Tasmania started to bring big flocks of sheep to the area. This area became the border of Victoria. In 1851 when Victoria separated from New South Wales the border was mostly along the Murray Rivers edge. -
Queensland
Miners and farmers started colonizing the coastal and inland
areas. -
South Australia
South Australia became bigger. -
Western Boundary
South Australia became even bigger.
