This event is important because it angered colonists. Even though the British were innocent, It still made them mad. It caused Americans to uprise and fight for their freedom. -
Boston Tea Party
A group of colonists dressed up as Mohawk Indians and boarded three British tea ships. They dumped all of the tea into the harbor. This is important because it lead to a chain of events that caused an American uprising. Stars and Stripes is Adopted

The battle lasted 17 days and ended in an American victory. This battle was so important that it was even named "the turning point of the war". It was important because it was the first American victory in a while. In this battle the Americans and the French battled against the British. Our forces bade the British surrender. It is important because it was the last battle of the war. It was a sign that the long struggle was finally over!!!
