On September 16, 1862 the Battle oa Antietam burst out in Washington County, Maryland. On Septmeber 18 General Robert E. Lee and his Confederate army would withdraw and would make it inconclusive, but many would say that the Union would strategically win. -
Battle of Sabine Pass
September 24, 1862 war would break out in Jefferson County, Texas. On September 25 the Confederates would surrender and let the Union take over of the Sabine Pass giving them the victory. -

On December 11, 1862, in Spotsylvania County and Fredricksburg, Virginia, a battle began. On December 15 Major General Ambrose E. Burnside would would call of his men and the Confederates would win. -

On April 9, 1865, in Appomattax County, Virginia, General Robert E. Lee would try to escape the Unoin and get his supplies at Lynchburg. He would later that day surrender, making it the final battle in Virginia, and giving the Union the victory. -
