The Last Supper
This painting was painted by Leonardo da Vinci. It was a fresco that was much different from the past frescoes da Vinci had painted. It was created by da Vinci using experimental pigments directly on the dry plaster wall. However the painting was finished it began to start flaking off of the wall, da Vinci tried to fix the painting however his efforts didn't matter and the painting continued to crumble. -

It depicts the Biblical Wedding Feast at Cana where according to the New Testament, Jesus performed his first miracle by turning water into wine. It is said that Paolo Veronese painted himself in the painting.
