Starting a job that pays minimum wage ($7.25 per hour)
Finding a job that pays at least $7.25 per hour will allow me to start a 4 month process of saving up for volleyball gear worth $310. Working 3 days a week at least 4 hours a day over the course of a month (3 weeks), I should have $87 minimum a week and $261 a month. I will give one third of my salary a month and put into a fund to save for volleyball.
    Expencess for volleyball include:
    Shoes- $150
    Knee Pads- $25
    Socks, 3 pairs- $45 ($15 each)
    Spandex, 3 pairs- $90 ($30 each)
    Total- $310

    End Of Second Month (February)
This second installment of $87 being put into the fund will now have $174 to put towards volleyball gear after 2 months of work for the months of January and February
  • End Of Third Month (March)

    End Of Third Month (March)
Working my same schedule, having no interruptions, I now have worked a solid 3 months giving me roughly $783 in total; However, because one third of that is going to my volleyball fund, I will now have $216 ($174+ this months $87) for volleyball gear.
  • End Of Month 4 (April)

    End Of Month 4 (April)
After finishing my fourth month of work, I now have another $87 to put into my fund of $261. With that added portion of my salary, I now have $348 total, exceeding the money required for spending on volleyball. Overall, I will have a total of $1,044 in my bank account and have finally reached my goal over a period of 4 months starting at the beginning of the year.
