A female Minoan athlete during the 1300s wear something different from everyone else.
Wall paintings shows them wearing bandeau-like (support ,or cover up) tops while playing sports. Until then, women were generally bare breasts under simple dresses. -

Age of the Corsé
The first big change in women's underwear was the corset. Women in France in the 1500s adopted the perfect female figure - an inverted cone shape. He flattened the woman's breasts, pushing them up. -
Something tightens
In the late 1800s, we finally saw a change from the corset to a shape that we now call a girdle. The weave and busk moved from the back to the front, forcing the torso forward and the hips to protrude outward, gave a woman more of an "S" shape. -
