Berlin Airlift
The Berlin Airlift was an air force that brought more food and supplies to the city of West Berlin. The reason they did this was because the Soviets were attempting to gain control of Berlin. This was historically significant because if the Truman administration didn't create this airlift, the Soiviets would've gained control of all of Berlin.
