Henry II Inherits the throne
Henry II inherited the throne and decided to build a basis for Common Law, this law was enforce in all of England. The citizens disliked Common Law, but since the Royal Courts charged money, it helped the royal justice grow. -

Philip II became the king of France
Philip gave money to middle-class people instead of the Nobles to give a hand in the government. He sent people to place around the country which made a new national tax. He got control over English lands by making wars and causing trouble. -

King John was forced to sign the Magna Carta
King John was forced to sign the Magna Carta (great charter) and it did 2 important things. 1) forced monarchs to obey the laws and 2) gave nobles rights, that were later extended to all free-men -

War of Roses
In 1485 Henry VII won the War of Roses and starts the Tudor dynasty, and starts to design the English nation-state. -

Spain gets take away from the Muslims
in 1492 Spanish monarchs took back all of Spain from the Muslims. This causes Spain to become a global power.
